Reading The Whole Year Through!!

                                      March 2024 During the month of February, our school celebrated I Love to Read Month. We had many fun-filled activities set out to showcase our love for books. The theme of the month was Our Voice are Unique. We had a month long drop everything and read activity (D.E.A. R Time), a magician Mr. Ken came to perform for the entire school, 50 Book Reading Challenge, Best Classroom Bulletin Board (Congratulations Grade 4!), book prizes to name a few activities. As we move into a new month, let's remember our love of reading the whole year through. Here are some videos your children will remember from our month. Enjoy watching the videos and Happy Reading!

Welcome Back to School!!

  January 8th, 2024 Wishing everyone a wonderful new year!  Wanted to share with you some fun activities to celebrate as a family.  These are taken from the National Day Calendar. Some fun upcoming dates to celebrate: January 14th is Dress Up Your Pet Day.  Take a picture and send it to school with your child on the 15th. January 18th is Winnie The Pooh Day.  Winnie the Pooh has a special Winnipeg connection. You can look this up as a family. On January 27th is Family Literacy Day.  Here is the ABC Life Literacy Canada website for you to look up activities to help celebrate. The Family Literacy Day Theme of this year is "Lets have a family party!"  Website link:   January 27th Family Literacy Day January 31st is Inspire Your Heart with Art Day.  Why not draw together as a family and talk about what inspired your heart.
